This is a good soccer shooting drill that works on three types of shots, a long range shot, close range shot off of a pass, and a header. To set up the drill place one line out about 15 - 20 yards outside the box in the middle of the field and one line just off of each post. Each line needs to have soccer balls. The first line that is in the middle of the field starts by dribbling towards the net for about 5- 10 yards and shooting. Then they follow their shot and receive a pass from the second line. Encourage players to shoot off of the pass. After the second shot the player gets in position to receive a header from the third line. The third ball can be kicked or thrown depending on the players level of skill. The most important thing is to make sure that the shooter receives a ball in which they can work on finishing with their head.

This soccer drill requires quick and accurate passes. Players should also focus on receiving that pass and either shooting or passing within the first two touches. The drill starts as S2 passes to P1 and receives the ball right back before passing to P3. P3 passes the ball back to S2 and then S2 gets off a quick shot just inside the box. S2 then moves to P3's position, P3 moves to P1's position and P1 moves the end of the line in which S2 just came from. The next rep then starts with S1 passing to P3 and the drill repeats from the other side.

This Soccer Drill focuses on shooting the ball quickly off of a pass. One player is in the box created by the four cones and three other players are about 10 - 15 yards away, each with soccer balls. P2 passes the ball to P1 and P1 has to receive the ball, turn and shoot while staying in the box. Player should try to get the shot off with only two touches. P1 receives a pass from all three players outside the box and then switches with another player. Players inside the box should try to turn both ways and work on shooting with both feet.

In this soccer drill goalies will face lots of shots from 15 to 20 yards out and at an angle that is just outside the post. Arrange the nets so they are about 40 yards apart. Place one player in the middle as shown and one line off to the side of each net so that they are on opposite sides. P2 starts by taking two touches then passing the ball to P1. P1 gives a one touch pass back to P2 and P2 then takes a one touch shot on net. Right after P1 makes the return pass to P2, P3 starts and gives P1 a pass then receives it back from P1 for a one touch pass on the other net.

In this soccer drill, P2 starts with a ball. On the whistle, P1 runs towards P2 and receives a pass from P2. P1 passes right back to P2 and then breaks down field for a long ball return pass. P2 needs to place the ball in space for P1 to run into it. P1 then crosses the ball to either P4, P5, or P6 who heads the ball on net. P1 then goes to the line on the opposite side of the field. P2 then becomes P1 and the drill repeats itself. After several repetitions switch out the players in front of the net.

Get ready for lots of shooting! In this shooting drill, P2 starts with the ball and passes to P1. P1 quickly receives the pass and shoots. The goalie then passes back to P1 with the same ball (or a new ball from in the net if P1 scores). P1 receives the pass and makes a quick pass to P2. P2 then quickly shoots on the other net. The goalie then makes a pass back to P2 and the process repeats until the whistle blows.

This is a 1 on 1 soccer drill (if you don’t count the bumpers). F1 starts with the ball and is trying to score against the defensive pressure of D1. F1 has the advantage of using P1 & P2 to their advantage. F1 has to use P1 or P2 but can only use them once.

This is a simple soccer drill that give players a chance to work on one time shots from a good distance away. The first player passes the ball to the coach. The coach passes the ball into space on the side of their choice. The player reacts to which side the ball is played on and takes a one time shot from just outside the box. It may be better form younger players to take 2-3 touches before taking the shot so they are a little closer.

In this soccer shooting drill, P1 is feeding balls to P2. P2 simply has to receive the ball and shoot as quickly as possible towards the net in which the ball was fed. Players can go for 15 - 20 seconds before switching.
