This is a u6 soccer drill that focuses on dribbling, passing , and sprinting. Depending on the number of players you have, get the players into multiple lines across the goal line with 3 to 4 players in each line. Place a cone about 1- to 15 yards in front of each line and give each line 1 ball. On the whistle the first player in each line dribbles the ball out around the cone while maintaining possession of the ball. Once they are around the cone they make a pass back to the next player in line. They make a pass right back to the first player and the first player makes another pass right back to the next player in line. There are 3 passes exchanged between the two players. The next player in line has to wait for the first player to run past the goal line before they start. If this is too tough for the skill level of your players then require the first player in line to only make 1 pass to the next player in line.

Soccer Dribbling Drills
This is a great drill for younger players who are still developing the basics of dribbling, shooting, passing, and agility. This U12 soccer drill works on all four of those skills in one sequence. Set up the drill as shown in the diagram. The spacing of the cones can be changed based on the age and skill level of the players. P1 starts the drill by dribbling through the cones. When they get through all the cones they pass the ball to P2 and take P2’s position. P2 then runs full speed to the next cone in the sequence while maintaining good ball control, at the cone they pass the ball to P3 and sprint to P3’s position. P3 makes a quick pass to P4 and runs into space to receive a return pass from P4 and takes a shot off of the pass. P3 then takes P4’s position. The drill ccontinues as the second player in line starts the dribbling sequence once P2 has received the pass from P1.
This is a shooting drill for youth soccer players. Two players go at the same time from the opposite lines. They dribble the soccer ball towards the diagonal cone. At the cone, they change direction and dribble towards the other cone. They need to keep their heads up as the other player will be coming at them. Both players need to avoid a collision and keep control of the ball. At the next cone they switch directions again and after one or two more touches take a shot on net.
